Robert B. Justin, DVM, Diplomate ACVIM (Internal Medicine)

Dr. Robert Justin was born and raised in the Bronx. He completed his undergraduate studies and received his DVM from Cornell University. Following this, he completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the Animal Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Justin joined the staff of The Veterinary Referral Center of Ultravet Diagnostics in Mineola in 1996 and Atlantic Coast Veterinary Specialists in Bohemia in 2002 when the hospital first opened.
Dr. Justin is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine with a specialty in internal medicine. His professional interests are in endoscopy, ultrasound cardiology, and oncology. In 2002, he was named by New York Magazine as being among the top veterinary specialists in New York.
Presently, Dr. Justin serves us as a consultant in diagnostic ultrasound.
Laurie Granata, DVM

Dr. Laurie Granata graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1998 and finished her clinical year at the University of Missouri. She began as a general practitioner shortly after graduation in Roslyn Heights, Long Island, where she worked for three years. During her third year of practice, she started working part-time for the Veterinary Referral Center of Ultravet Diagnostics in Mineola as an emergency/critical care veterinarian, and in August 2001, she signed on full time. At Ultravet Diagnostics, she was trained in diagnostic ultrasound by George Kramer, DVM, DACVIM (Cardiology) and Robert Justin, DVM, DACVIM (Internal Medicine) and later joined the mobile ultrasound division in addition to her responsibilities as an emergency/critical care veterinarian. In addition, she served as coordinator for the internship program in medicine and surgery of Atlantic Coast Veterinary Specialists and Ultravet Diagnostics from 2004-2007. Presently, Dr. Granata serves us as a consultant in diagnostic ultrasound.
Dr. Granata's professional interests in addition to ultrasound are emergency and critical care medicine, surgery, internal medicine, and general practice medicine.
During her leisure time, Dr. Granata enjoys road cycling, backpacking, running, hiking and traveling.
John Parks, DVM, Diplomate, ACVS
Dr. John Parks has been caring for pets at Atlantic Coast Veterinary Specialists since 2002. He attended Iowa State University and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture in 1966. Following his undergraduate studies, Dr. Parks attended Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine and was awarded his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1970. Between 1970 and 1974, he completed an internship and a surgical residency at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston. A specialist in veterinary surgery, in 1979, Dr. Parks obtained Diplomate status in the American College of Veterinary Surgeons.
A member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the American Animal Hospital Association, Dr. Parks has published a number of articles in the American Animal Hospital Association Journal.
Dr. Parks is a surgery consultant at Atlantic Coast Veterinary Specialists.
