Kathleen Dunn, VMD
Dr. Kathleen Dunn has treated pets at Atlantic Coast Veterinary Specialists as an emergency and critical care veterinarian since August 2008. A native of West Haven, Conn., she attended Fairfield University and received her Bachelor's Degree in Politics and Economics with a minor in English Literature in 1988. She completed post-baccalaureate work at Fordham University prior to attending veterinary school. She continued her veterinary education at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and was awarded her Veterinariae Medicinae Doctoris degree in 2006. She is particularly interested in emergency and critical care and all aspects of feline medicine.
Outside the hospital, Dr. Dunn has a wide range of interests. She is a national figure skating judge and also enjoys musical theater and singing. In her spare time, her hobbies include baking, antiquing and renovating her home. She enjoys the companionship of several cats.
Edgardo Delgado, DVM

After graduating cum laude in 2001 from the University of Puerto Rico with a Bachelor's Degrees in Animal Sciences and Biology, Dr. Edgardo Delgado continued his education at Ross University where he was awarded his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. He originally came to Atlantic Coast Veterinary Specialists for an internship and later became a emergency and critical care veterinarian in 2007.
A member of the American Animal Hospital Association, Dr. Delgado's professional interests include oncology and surgery. Away from the hospital, he enjoys include scuba diving, paintball, surfing, snowboarding, volleyball, baseball and soccer.
Tracey Cronin, DVM
Dr. Tracey Cronin attended Hofstra University and was awarded her Bachelor's Degree in Biology in 1989. While at Hofstra, she was a member of Beta Beta Beta, the National Biology Honor Society and Alpha Epsilon Delta, the National Paramedical Honor Society. Following graduation, Dr. Cronin continued her education at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine and was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. Dr. Cronin received the "Senior Surgery Award" while in veterinary school and went on to complete an internship at the prestigious Animal Medical Center in New York City.
A member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Long Island Veterinary Medical Association, Dr. Cronin has been an emergency/critical care veterinarian at Atlantic Coast Veterinary Specialists since 2002. She also belongs to the Guide Dog Foundation and the North Shore Animal League.
At home, Dr. Cronin enjoys the companionship of Tiffany, one of our patients who has received a cardiac pacemaker. During her leisure time, she also enjoys horseback riding and dressage and hunter / jumper competitions.
.Elsa LeBars, DVM

Dr. Elsa LeBars attended Cornell University for her undergraduate as well as her veterinary medical studies. She was awarded both her Bachelor's Degree and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine Degree in 1997. A practitioner with professional interests in emergency and critical care, Dr. LeBars has been an emergency/critical care veterinarian at Atlantic Coast Veterinary Specialists since 2002.
Dr. LeBars is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society. At home, she enjoys the company of her two cats, Nubbin and Mia.
