Your pet. Our mission.

In the event of an emergency, DO NOT HESITATE to come directly to our hospital. No appointment or referral is needed for emergency care. We’re always open! 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year with no exceptions – you can count on us. We’ve got your back (or should we say tail)! Our hospital is staffed at all times by skilled emergency veterinarians and technicians, capable of handling the most complicated and demanding emergencies. No matter what time you arrive, you and your pet will be seen by a veterinarian.

The team at Atlantic Coast Veterinary Specialists saw the need in our community for a reliable, 24/7 emergency department that was capable of providing continuous and overnight care for pets in need. Through this vision, our emergency and critical care department has grown and flourished into the most reliable and trustworthy emergency veterinary care on Long Island! Pet parents were in need of quality care and local veterinarians needed a dependable partner and resource that could provide continuous monitoring for their emergency cases while their offices were closed. Atlantic Coast Veterinary Specialists has fulfilled that need.

REMEMBER, if you feel that your pet has an emergency, DO NOT DELAY CARE. Your quick thinking combined with our high-quality veterinary care will give your pet the best chance on a successful road to recovery.
