What Sets Us Apart
At Atlantic Coast New York Veterinary Specialists, we stand apart. Our team of veterinary professionals works together in our state-of-the-art facility to provide for your pet's needs at all times.
We are staffed with board-certified veterinary specialists in a range of specialities.
A veterinarian takes additional training in an accredited veterinary specialty to become a veterinary specialist. To become board-certified, they must complete a 2-3 year residency and an original research project, be published in a scientific journal, and complete a multi-day comprehensive exam. Once they have met these requirements, the resident becomes a diplomate in their specialty, providing pets access to advanced specialized care. We are especially renowned for cardiology and orthopedic surgery.
We have state-of-the-art diagnostic technology, including MRI services.
We have an in-house laboratory and use advanced diagnostic technology – including MRI and CT scans – to accurately diagnose Long Island pets and create a plan to get them the best treatment for their long-term health and well-being.
We provide exceptional emergency care expertise, 24/7/365.
Our veterinary hospital is open to receive patients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, no referral required. We are pleased to provide veterinary care to local pets as well as those who come from great distances to see us.
We work as a team with your primary care veterinarian to treat your pet.
Think of us as an extension of your pet's primary veterinary care. We provide specialty veterinary services that extend beyond traditional veterinary medicine, and work closely with your primary care veterinarian every step of the way.
